A mikvah is not the first place most people think about when discussing art, but at MACoM, Metro Atlanta Community Mikvah, our gallery space is an important part of the mikvah experience. The concept of Hiddur Mitzvah, the act of beautifying or enhancing a Jewish ritual by appealing to the senses, is essential at MACoM. We want people to come in and immediately feel that they are walking into a special, beautiful, welcoming space. It's also a wonderful way of supporting local, Jewish artists and making new connections in the Jewish community.
